Yongin Busk-in is a cultural project put on by the Yongin Cultural Foundation and it began in 2012 to foster the city’s culture and to support street artists.
“Busk-in” is a combination of “busk,” which is a street performance, and “人 [in]”, a traditional Chinese character that means “people.” Artists are selected through an audition process, then they are given the opportunity to perform a variety of arts at main parts of the three districts of Yongin.

The Streets of Yongin - Giheung Station (Light Rail), Bojeong-dong Café Street, X Park, in front of the Yongin Youth Center, Yongin Bus Terminal, inside the Yongin Theme Park, inside the Gyeonggi Provincial Museum, Teunssak Neighborhood Park (in front of Dongbaek’s Junwave Shopping Area), and more

Artists who are selected through an audition process to perform their art at different locations in Yongin for a year.
A citizen-participation street cultural festival where artists perform and interactive programs are available for citizen participation.
Yongin artists visit culturally deprived areas within Yongin for street performance or for small-group concerts
